In pursuance of NUST Flood Relief Campaign, Basti Hyderabad, Tehsil Jampur, District Rajanpur has been Adopted by NUST Team (members from SCEE, ASAB .& SADA). NUST team led by Dr Abdul Waheed ex SCEE visited the adopted village comprises of 28x families, (with an avg of 8 x household per family). Relief/ rehabilitation works worth PKR 6 M have been planned/ executed for the adopted village including Restoration of Community Facilities of Government Boys Primary School & Jamia Masjid, distribution of Rations (Rs. 7000 pkg / family), Non-Food Items (Utensils, 2x Charpoy, 2x Quilts , 1x Emergency light), Livelihood Sustenance (Urea Fertilizer), Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) (8 x handpumps & Water Tank 50 Gals). The flood affected villagers were highly appreciative and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the NUST management on this unique initiative and were full of prayers for the NUST/ donors.
