Summary
Dr. Salman Atif has a doctorate in Geography and Natural Environment and is an alumnus of University of Paris, MS from University of Blaise Pascal and BS from University of Karachi. He specialises in the effects of anthropogenic presence on natural environment and climate. He has worked extensively to develop an understanding of our natural environment, its relationship with human presence and activities and how to map and monitor the effects of one on the other. He, also has a broad-based hands on experience of GIS (Geographical Information System) and allied sciences in doing so. He currently serves as the General Secretary of BS/MS Remote Sensing and GIS National Curriculum Review Committee.
