Summary

Dr. Sameer-ud-Din (P.E.) is currently serving as Assistant Professor, Department of Transportation Engineering, School of Civil & Environmental Engineering (SCEE), NUST, Islamabad. Dr. Sameer has associated with the industry (nationally and globally) as well as in academia for more than 15 years in his professional life. He is a human factors and transport safety expert with a background in transportation engineering. His research areas can be largely split into two distinct themes. The first relates to human factors in transport and how these can be integrated to bring behavioral change. Focusing on research in transport safety and behavior in air, rail, and road journey, to influencing business and organization to improve road safety. The second is related to traffic studies, geometric design, and strategies and interventions. His role involved teaching and administrative responsibilities along with academic supervision at both post-graduate and under-graduate levels.
