Dr. Syeda Irsa Mazhar Kazmi has recently joined NUST in 2024 as a faculty member, bringing with her a wealth of experience in environmental sciences. She holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences from International Islamic University Islamabad and has had the privilege of working at the Department of Environmental Engineering, University of Florida, USA, as part of her international research experience. With over 10 years of teaching experience and 4 years of research experience at both national and international levels, Dr. Kazmi has established herself as a seasoned expert in her field. Her research has been published in reputable international journals, garnering a total impact factor of 20.76. Dr. Kazmi's research interests areas, include: Nanofibers fabrication through electrospinning technique, Nanomaterials synthesis for catalysis,Nano filters fabrication for air pollution control, Antimicrobial nanotextiles Her expertise also extends to: Environmental pollution control and management, Nanotechnology applications in environmental remediation, Sustainable materials development, Air and water quality monitoring and assessment.Dr. Kazmi is passionate about mentoring students and collaborating with colleagues to advance knowledge in environmental sciences and nanotechnology. Her goal is to contribute meaningfully to the scientific community and develop innovative solutions for real-world environmental challenges.
