Summary

Dr. Zain Maqsood specializes in advance geotechnical testing, and he owns a rich experience of laboratory and model testing on bounded and unbounded geomaterials. Dr. Zain earned his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from NICE, NUST, and he was awarded with the President Gold Medal. Dr. Zain secured MEXT scholarship in 2014 for his Masters and PhD degree programs from the University of Tokyo, Japan. He is the recipient of Furuichi Award (2016) for his outstanding research performance, and later he served as a project researcher (postdoctoral fellow) in the Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory of The University of Tokyo, Japan. Dr. Zain also gained valuable experience of handling consultancy project while his stay in NESPAK as a geotechnical engineer. Dr. Zain Maqsood is currently serving as an Assistant Professor and OIC of Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory of NUST Institute of Civil Engineering (NICE).
