Short Biography:

Muhammad Fawad is a Digital Construction researcher and Structural Engineer hailing from Pakistan. He is currently working as a joint research fellow at the Silesian University of Technology, Poland, and Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary. Fawad is engaged in research work involving the use of BIM technology and cyber-physical devices for the Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) of bridges. He is an expert in the use of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) devices, such as Microsoft HoloLens, Site Vision, and Oculus Quest, supplemented with wireless sensors for bridge health monitoring. He has recently developed an AR application using 3D game engines that can be used for infrastructure asset management.
