CSI Bangkok–NUST Technical Sessions on Engineering Education and Bridge Engineering

On 30 July 2026, CSI Bangkok, in collaboration with the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (SCEE), NUST Islamabad, organized two technical sessions focusing on engineering education, digital engineering, and the future of bridge engineering.

The first session, “Eagle Eye Platform: Engineering with Insight,” was attended by more than 150 faculty members, students, practicing engineers, and industry professionals. Dr. Naveed Anwar, CEO CSI Bangkok, delivered a keynote emphasizing the importance of understanding engineering principles, assumptions, calculations, and design procedures behind software tools. A live demonstration of the Eagle Eye Platform showcased its applications in structural analysis, engineering education, professional training, and practical workflows. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, certificate distribution, and refreshments.

The second session, “Future Directions in Bridge Engineering: Planning, Design, Construction, and Management,” brought together 50 representatives from 24 organizations from academia, government, defense, infrastructure, and the engineering sector. Dr. Naveed introduced Bridge Express, demonstrating how integrated digital workflows can support bridge planning, design, inspection, construction, and lifecycle management.

The event provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, professional development, digital transformation, and research collaboration in structural and bridge engineering. The visit concluded with a networking dinner and the exchange of commemorative mementos between Dr. Naveed Anwar and Dr. Muhammad Irfan, reaffirming the commitment of CSI Bangkok and NUST to continued collaboration and advancement of engineering education and practice in Pakistan and the region.
