A delegation of SCEE (NICE) headed by Principal & Dean SCEE visited WAPDA Hydel Complex to present the newly proposed Program of MS Water resources and Hydropower Engineering to Chairman WAPDA. Registrar NUST also accompanied the delegation. The purpose of the visit was to engage WAPDA in the new program considering the fact that WAPDA is the Major stakeholder in the relevant field. The Principal & Dean SCEE presented the contents and outcomes of the programs and compared the proposed MS Program at NUST with international practices. Chairman WAPDA appreciated the efforts made by NUST in promoting Academia Industrial Linkages and acknowledged the impact of NUST in promoting quality education in Pakistan. The Chairman WAPDA accepted the importance and need of Hydropower Engineers for WAPDA and other relevant organizations. Chairman WAPDA agreed to send 10x WAPDA officers each year to enroll in the MS Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering and to support in every possible way to make this program sustainable.
