Dr. Abdul Jabbar, PhD (Geotechnics and Hydrogeology) has a vast academic and employment backgrounds from being a head of Private Companies to academia and now serving as Assistant Professor at NUST. He has vast experience of geotechnical engineering, Groundwater exploration and mining exploration. He has worked with well known consultants both public and private sectors at different International and National projects. Dr. Jabbar research background involved several publications in Web of Science, Scopus, and international conferences which related to the geotechnical and water issues. In addition, he has been assigned as a reviewer in many conferences and national level Journals. Dr. Jabbar successfully secured many international funding and has undertaken many research and R&D projects as PI, Co-PI and team member. The interesting research areas include Engineering Geology, Groundwater, Dam’s feasibilities, Structural Geology, Geo-hazards and Mineral Exploration His teaching scope include Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering Material, Groundwater Exploration and research input in many geotechnical and water resources engineering projects.
