Summary

Dr. Khursheed Ahmed is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Construction Engineering and Management, School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. Dr. Khursheed earned his Ph.D. in Construction Engineering and Management from City University of Hong Kong in 2021, where his research focused on stress management among ethnic minority construction workers. With over three years in academia, Dr. Khursheed has maintained an average teaching feedback of 85%+, supervised 12+ MS theses, and has been involved in the supervision and co-supervision of two Ph.D. candidates. His research contributions include 13+ journal articles, 5 conference publications, and 4 best paper awards. He also holds two international certifications: Construction Value Management (VMA, SAVE International, USA) and Mindfulness Stress Recognition (HSP, Hong Kong). Dr. Khursheed has been invited as a keynote speaker by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB, Hong Kong) and the Hong Kong Institute of Value Management. He has organized professional training programs, including a 5-day workshop on BIM and Primavera P6, and a 2-day training on FIDIC Red Book 2017. Dr. Khursheed also serves as a reviewer for reputed international journals such as Safety Science, Journal of Construction Engineering and Management, Journal of Management in Engineering, and Engineering, Construction and Architectural Management. Research Interests: Occupational Health and Safety, Stress Management in Construction, Sustainable Construction, and Irregularities in Construction.
