Summary

Dr. Musharib Khan has been serving as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Environmental Sciences and Engineering (IESE), School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (SCEE), NUST, Islamabad, since 2021. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Solid & Hazardous Waste Management, Environmental Impact Assessment, Introduction to Environmental Engineering, and Thermodynamics. His research group, comprising PhD, MS, and undergraduate students, focuses on waste management and valorization, as well as water and wastewater treatment. He has secured project funding from various organizations, including the Pakistan Engineering Council and the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics. Dr. Khan has authored and co-authored a number of research articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has presented his work at various national and international conferences. In addition to his academic responsibilities, he provides consultancy and advisory services in areas such as process design, socio-economic assessments, waste analysis and characterization studies (WACS), environmental impact assessments (EIA), and life cycle assessments (LCA). He is also currently serving as the Director of the Local Quality Enhancement Cell (LQEC) and the Focal Person for Industrial Collaboration at SCEE (IESE), NUST.
