Summary

I currently work as an Assistant Professor of Geoinformatics at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, where I previously held a Lecturer position. My foundational education includes a Bachelor's in Geoinformatics Engineering and two Master's degrees: one in Remote Sensing and GIS (NUST) and another in Geographic Information Systems (South Dakota State University). I completed my Ph.D. in Geography (Remote Sensing and GIS) in August 2025 from The University of Alabama. My training extensively covered Remote Sensing, Machine Learning, Programming, and GIS Automation. My research is dedicated to Geospatial Artificial Intelligence (GeoAI), specializing in applying advanced machine learning/deep learning algorithms to large-scale Satellite and UAV remote sensing data for applications like crop yield prediction, food security, and sustainable natural resource management.
