14th UG/PG Convocation SCEE

The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (SCEE), NUST, held its 14th Undergraduate and Postgraduate Convocation on October 20, 2025, at the Jinnah Auditorium, NUST Islamabad. The event marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of the graduating students, celebrating their achievements in the presence of faculty, parents, and distinguished guests.

In the welcome address, the Principal & Dean SCEE Dr. Muhammad Irfan extended heartfelt congratulations to the graduates and their families on the successful completion of their degrees. He expressed profound appreciation for the SCEE faculty, researchers, and staff whose dedication and guidance have been instrumental in enabling students to reach this important milestone. He urged the graduates to continue striving for excellence, uphold professional ethics, and always remain grateful to their parents and mentors.

Pro-Rector (Academics) NUST, Dr. Osman Hasan, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, Dr. Hasan lauded the hard work and dedication of the graduating students, as well as the unwavering support of their parents. He also commended the SCEE faculty and administrative staff for their vital contributions in nurturing and guiding the students throughout their academic tenure. He remarked that the convocation signifies a shared accomplishment for students, parents, faculty, and staff—achieved through collective effort, perseverance, and commitment to excellence.

During the ceremony, degrees were conferred upon 197 undergraduate and 196 postgraduate students, marking another successful academic year for SCEE.

Award-winning graduates from SCEE were also recognized at the NUST Master Convocation, where 9 PhD degrees and 6 undergraduate medals were presented to SCEE graduates. Additionally, the SCEE Best Teacher Award was presented to Mr. Arshad Hussain, Associate Professor, NICE, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to teaching and academic excellence.

The ceremony concluded with a strong message of perseverance, gratitude, and service to society, reaffirming SCEE’s commitment to producing competent professionals equipped to address contemporary engineering challenges.
