Visits of Foreign Delegates

  • SCEE- IGIS hosted the Penal discussion on the projections of climate change impact including climate disasters in the light of post IPCC assessment-report scientific results, in collaboration of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) – Germany and NUST. There were around 10 national and international participants from industry (PARC, GCISC, PMD and MOCC) and German universities (University of Hamburg, Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) and InsuResilience Investment Fund (IIF). The agenda of discussion included recent floods of 2022, impacts of climate change on water and agriculture sector in Pakistan and mitigation strategies for future.

  • Korean Delegation led by Mr. Bong Hwan Lee, Vice President, Global Business Division, Health Care visited SCEE, where a bilateral meeting was held to explore the possibilities of Academia-Industry Research collaboration. Principal & Dean SCEE was leading the team SCEE which comprised of experts from various domains of Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering & Sciences, & Geoinformatics.

  • Dr. Zia Uddin, of Department of Construction Engineering and Management at University of Houston, USA visited SCEE- NICE and delivered a talk titled ‘Introduction to Construction Management Productivity Tools’ to UG CE 2019 Batch.

  • Professor Dr. Shinichi Miyazato (Director, Institute of Disaster and Environmental Science and Vice Dean of Research, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering) from Kanazawa Institute of Technology, Japan visited SCEE for Academic and Research Collaboration.
